The Yamaha YUS5 is based on the industry standard Professional series U3S.
Specification as per the YUS3S - with the added feature of a celeste (mute) rail, solid music desk and semi-porous keytops.
The YUS5 music desk is positioned as per a grand piano music desk with the added benefit of acoustic ports behind the desk allowing the tone to escape the cabinet.
The YUS Custom Series are refined models featuring superior strings and hand-crafted grade hammers which further improve the resonance and tone.
Whilst the YUS3S offers the principle gain over the U3S, the cabinet and keytop refinements of the YUS5 complete the upgrade and make the step up from the U3S a more rewarding investment.
